Starlette Pavilion

Fondazione Fashion Research, Italy, Bologna

The pavilion's main component is translucent chiffon fabric, chosen as an homage to the renowned lingerie brand founded by the Masotti family. This fabric aims to transform the exhibition venue into an interactive space where the delicate yet strong beauty of femininity becomes tangible. As visitors wander through the undulating layers of red and white chiffon, suspended by carbon fibers from the self-supporting structure, their skin will come into intimate contact with the fabric. This experience makes female sensuality a tangible and physical matter, embracing admirers with gentle arms.

Three exhibition halls, representing different aspects of female sensuality, are connected by a sinuous path that encompasses the entire pavilion. Additionally, three smaller exhibition spaces, referred to as "Hidden Boudoirs," are carefully placed in discrete locations, waiting to be discovered by curious visitors. This thoughtful design invites exploration and intimate engagement, celebrating the multifaceted nature of female beauty and sensuality.
